Pamukale and a few things they had to sell

Absolutely amazing, such well preserved and maintained - a whole city within the protective fortress walls! The baths, toilets, theatre, roads, courtyards, shops and statues all still plain to see as if stepping back in time. The whole place was so huge and high it made you feel really insignificant.

There were carpets and leather goods and pottery galore but ofsourse the highest quality were from the factories where they took us - fed us with apple tea, wine or raki and put on a hillarious show. made it very enticing but i was good girl resisting... others........ where do they get that kind of money? I thought i was on a tour full of teachers but they obviously have secret jobs on the side!
