little bit of skipping

King Kong - the local buggy driver

Peru - Lima
Extremely scary on the night time ride in form the airport! thought i would never leave my hotel the next day but i did and i am glad as it was buzzing in the ay time and very cool to look around. stumbled upon a trustworthy local to help point out the sites and get me deals and find me things. Bought a poncho which is the coolest and has turned out to be priceless so far! Awesome colonial buildings and i learned to salsa! Unfortunately it has been wither too dangerous or unsafe or sandy to take my proper camera so most snaps have been captured on the disposable.

Paraca is small fishing type place where some went out to see wildlife while I and others chilled over a 4.50 quid massive seafood selection lunch! love it! Very cool to see the local culture living as they are and great to smell and see the sea! L ittle boys were feeding pelicans and ofcourse asking for the donation when you took the photos.

Finally met up with the group who - didnt realiize it- but have already been together for a couple weeks coming from Quito. so just me an english dude Jack and Jo and Dave an aussie couple who were joining! Most other people on tour are anglish would you believe! might finally make some english friends after all ! all seem really friendly and have fun together so yay! Our second stop w
as the desert and was really excited about sleeping under the stars but with the mist, it not all as romantic as it sounds. still very col experience none the less! no tents even just lay a mat and a bag and there you are! The locals put on awesome feed for us and sung us songs - mostly in spnaish but some tunes were familiar! some more salsa and and a bt of skipping. little bit of spanish learned and some pisco going round very freely ( the local dirnk - there is always one!) much better than raki though! little bit sangreearish..... mmmmm
Before the camping we went buggying up and down the massive sand dunes of the desert! qwas awesome! then stopped at cliff faces to sand board down. was pretty daunting to start with but we managed to get steeper and faster. Like nothing i have ever done before - absolutely unreal! Gutted no pictures of that but they all on the disposable!
