Trip from Arachipa to Culca Canyon

piles of stones mean good luck, i did make my own small pile so everything gonna be A OK for me
At 5000m above sea level in the Andes! Dont love the high maintenance cut CHAD!
I am eating a prickly pear while Jo snaps a freebie of the locals, we sooo sneaky!
View of Culca canyon from one of the thousand view points!

You can check out the local people and sites in the middle of the andes! Really lovely and all the kids are really into the selling of the photos! Random llamas and alpacas and white deer and sheep and dogs are all over the place as it is all national park land. had a few stops for them to cross the road!

A local guide took us in a bus to Culca canyon which is bigger than the grand canyon and i am thinking has alot more culture going on . Plan was to spot the condor birds which are 3.5 m long in wing span and 1.5 metres head to toe. like vultures but only eat already dead food so yay was going to be safe although dont really love the birds, pigeons really ruined it for me in London!

Meant to chew the local coca leaves to stop from getting alttitude sickness because along the way to the canyon we were rising form sea level to over 5000m above sea level in very short time! NOt sure about the leaves themselves but i didchew the lollies that contained them and i was all good apart from some heavy breathing when we forgot to take it easy. It very weird dizzy feeling! like underwater and cant quite get full breath.
