Paris (or Paree)

The very very tall pantheon, makes it easy to spot and confirms you have turned down the right street - a quality we came to admire.




The catacoombs - an underground maze with walls made of bones and skulls. All unearthed from their original burial grounds. France had serious issues, and the designer of this memorial had a few aswell. Very creepy but very interesting. Note had to climb 284 stairs to get down and 86 to get up - no wonder pensioners were discounted!















Le Louvre - we were more interested in the gun carrying security who looked ready to fire. Please refer to kates blog to view - www.katejerram.blogspot.com definitely worth a look ( and i have tried to use different photos so you get extra for your viewing time)















Some of the sights..... view from the tower, since you already know what the tower looks like. sacre coure - the flash merry go round below it and the magnificent church itself. Said a prayer or two for those of you who need it (took a while)



Arch de triumphe
A very hard building to get away from considering the crazy crazy roundabout that surrounds it. cars everywhere! doing whatever they please, no lanes just kind of a swirvy mess - they not no how to merge like a zip.
